This cosy converted carriage house is situated just a short drive from the market town of Penrith and nestled between the Lake District and North Pennines. This area offers a great base to get out and explore, with some lovely walks available from your front door. Head along to Ullswater Lake and enjoy a family day out on the fantastic Ullswater steamer or for the more adventurous types hire your own boat or kayak. Nearby the popular town of Keswick boasts plenty to be desired such as a weekend market, museums, attractions and with plenty of shops and eateries. This converted carriage house offers plenty of space and luxury for all guests whether it be the extra touches the owners have added throughout the property or the spacious bedrooms. The open plan living area is the hub of the house and where you will spend most of your time and it has all you need for your stay. The lounge has two sofas and a leather armchair surrounding the flame effect electric fire and wall mounted Smart TV which make for a perfect night in. The kitchen/diner has two wonderful skylights which make it a bright space to create many a wonderful meal along with dining table and chairs, dishwasher, washing machine, American style fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and electric oven and hob. Heading out into the hall is the handy WC along with plenty of space for those muddy boots and coats. At the end of the hall is the master bedroom with king size bed and skylights so you can watch the night sky in bed. Off the bedroom is the en suite shower room with shower and WC. Heading up to the first floor is the twin zip and link (which can be made into a king size on request) with en suite shower room with shower and WC. The decking area has been tastefully created to reflect comfort with seating area and your own private hot tub so you can enjoy those lovely evenings with a drink under the stars. Private parking for one car.
