The house is set in a quiet spot just outside Keswick s bustling town centre, where you will find a fantastic range of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. There are plenty of attractions in Keswick including the Art Deco style Alhambra Cinema, the Theatre by the Lake, the Puzzling Place, Keswick Museum and Art Gallery, Derwent Pencil Museum and the Keswick Climbing Wall and Outdoor Adventure Centre. Just outside Keswick is the 5,000 year old Castlerigg Stone Circle (1 mile). The town is built on the shore of Derwentwater, with Bassenthwaite Lake just 5 miles to the north. Other local attractions include Honister Slate Mine (9.5 miles), Surprise View (3.5 miles), the Bowder Stone (5.5 miles) and the Lake District Wildlife Park (8.5 miles). Several steps lead up and into this attractive house and its spacious hallway which leads you through to the fresh and airy main lounge. This light and attractive room features a high ceiling, big bay windows, wooden floors, and a coal effect gas fire, as well as plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV for relaxing in the evening. Exploring the ground floor further, the cheerful dining room is an ideal sociable space for you to all gather, share a meal and chat about the day. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, double oven with gas hob, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Next to the kitchen is a games room with pool table. Heading upstairs, the stair landing leads to the second lounge. This charming snug has a TV, DVD and a sofa bed (made up upon request).The family bathroom, separate shower room and two WCs are also on this level. A curved staircase leads to the first floor where you will find the first two bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space and an in room sink: a king size room with views towards Skiddaw, and a delightful twin bedroom. The final three bedrooms can be found on the second floor. The twin room has plenty of storage space and an in room sink, and the charming single room has view out towards the fells.
