Venture down to Lake Windermere, 1 mile further on from the town, to book a cruise on England s largest lake, walk along its shores, hire bicycles or have a go at water sports. Step into this pretty property, which has connections to Beatrix Potter, to find yourselves in its inviting, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its characterful, low, beamed ceiling. Make yourselves at home on the comfortable seating, fire up the wood burner and gaze out towards the fields. Switch on the Smart TV with DVD and plan your evening s viewing.
