There’s also a high spec contemporary bathroom with bath and shower. Along the hallway is an open plan kitchen/dining room providing everything you need for cooking up a feast. The large dining table is perfect for a family games night too. The living room is at the end of the property and offers views to an enclosed patio. It has floor to ceiling windows so it’s bright, light and comes with easy seating and a flat screen Smart TV. Outside you have two allocated parking spaces just 50 yards from the entrance, and a pretty patio and garden with seating, perfect for a morning coffee, an afternoon glass of wine or al-fresco dining.
Grange-Over-Sands is within walking distance down Hampsfell Road or a short taxi ride back if you’re full! It has a range of coffee shops, cafés and restaurants and a peaceful vibe as well as a good range of shops for stocking up on the essentials. This coastal resort offers stunning views across Morecambe Bay to Arnside and Silverdale with the tides changing the landscape throughout the day. You are only a short car journey to Cartmel with its delightful priory and home to its famous sticky toffee pudding. The Southern tip of Windermere, where you can join the Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway to visit the Lakeland Motor Museum. Or why not take a Windermere Lake Cruise to Bowness or Ambleside? If you love the outdoors, this offers a great base to explore much of The South Lakes including Hawkshead, Windermere, Coniston and Ulverston is just up the coast.
