The Boating Centre is a great place from which to hire boats, take boat trips on the famous Gondola (a Victorian steam yacht) and launches or just simply feed the ducks and enjoy an ice cream. From the hallway there is a compact, tasteful ground floor shower room with walk in shower WC and hand basin. The staircase leads to the first floor where there are two light, restful king size bedrooms and one lovely twin room as well as a contemporary bathroom with over bath shower, WC and washbasin. Outside there is a sunny patio area, a great spot for al fresco dining and across the track from the property a lovely grassy paddock, ideal for family games. Beyond the courtyard, idyllic Coniston Water will tempt you through the grounds and down to the estate s private lake shore area which is shared with other properties on the estate this is the place for picnics, paddling and fishing for tiddlers.
