For those who want to spend their holiday looking out over Lake Windermere and enjoying the surrounding area, there could be no better place to stay than in this Lakeland home. There is a lot on offer nearby from taking the ferry over to Bowness which is ideal for foodies as there is an abundance of pubs, restaurants and cafés. Or head up the road passing the Beatrix Potter home, Hilltop, and carry on to the quaint village of Hawkshead (3.5 miles) which offers a quieter atmosphere with a few pubs, cafés, and outlets to choose from. This property is the perfect place to get away and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Through the front door, we have the snug area on the right which offers a great breakaway for anyone. It has a Smart TV, leather sofa, and amazing views of Lake Windermere from the bay window with seating. On the opposite side is the lounge with the same amazing views and offers a great space for some family time with a three seater sofa, two armchairs, and Smart TV. Carry on through and we arrive at the wonderful stylish kitchen/diner which is the hub of the house and offers a traditional Lakeland feel. The kitchen is equipped for all your needs with a Range electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher along with a wonderful wood burner to enjoy whilst eating at the dining table. Heading into the hallway and down a level, we have a handy WC, separate shower, and also a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a back door out to the parking. On the first floor, we have the master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite shower room with WC. Next to this is the twin (which can be made into a king size on request). Down a step and you will reach the family bathroom with a separate shower, bath, and WC. Lastly is the double bedroom with its own private balcony. The wonderful front garden with stunning views over Lake Windermere, perfect for an evening meal whilst chilling. There are also wonderful, shared gardens to enjoy with the same majestic views of the water. On site parking is available for up to two cars.
