Resting on the fringes of the beautiful Lake District National Park and just paces away from the shores of Morecambe Bay is the stunning Links Lodge, set in a beautiful landscaped park near Flookburgh village. This wonderful property has all the ingredients required for a superb family holiday, with its beautiful location filled with plenty of things to see and do combined with a charming interior design, offering a relaxing atmosphere to return to at the end of each day. Enter into the open-plan living room, where an abundance of natural light floods into the room from the patio doors and allows a seamless integration from the outside in. The sleek kitchen comes with everything you could possibly need to cater family favourite recipes by making use of the integrated oven, gas hob and microwave, as well as a dishwasher so that you barely have to lift a finger. Impressively, the lodge also comes with a useful washing machine, allowing you to easily freshen up your belongings after an action-packed day by the coast. Afterwards, relax into your evening by flicking on the electric fire and curling up on the sofa, with the TV as your entertainment. Alternatively, open up the patio doors and take a refreshing drink out onto the south-facing patio, which is a true sun trap, before dipping into the bubbling hot tub to truly savour a moment of relaxation. Once the evening draws to a close, catch your rest within one of the three bedrooms, consisting of a double bedroom with en-suite shower, another double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each boasting good wardrobe storage and their own TVs, perfect for those lazy Sunday mornings. If you can tear yourself away from this tranquil oasis, head into the village of Flookburgh, where you will find a selection of two pubs and a shop for picking up the essentials. From here, you could choose to walk the Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath or venture to Humphrey Head, to enjoy the views of the bay with its endearing bird life and Coniston's mountain range in the far distance. An afternoon can be spent within the town of Grange-over-Sands, which is a popular resort with an Edwardian flavour with a scenic promenade to explore, Ornamental Gardens to meander or why not try a round of golf at the local course? Other attractions nearby include Holker Hall & Gardens, which is a Cumbrian hall with 200 acres of land awaiting to be explored or travel slightly further into the National Park and visit the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway for a journey on a historic locomotive. Bring your loved ones to Links Lodge to share a wonderful holiday to this part of Cumbria.
