Dovedale offers a bright and spacious open plan lounge and dining room with adjacent, well equipped, kitchen. Choose from three smart bedrooms, one with en-suite, a family bathroom and shower room spread over the upper floors. At the very top of the house discover the cinema/media room that has been created in the loft conversion.
The busy market square in the centre of the popular town of Keswick is just a five minute’s walk away and offers a fantastic array of cafes, bars and local restaurants along with a great range of local shops and the very popular, award winning weekly market selling a fantastic selection of local produce, handicrafts and much, much more.
Accommodation in detail
Opening to the hallway the front door welcomes you to Dovedale. The open plan lounge / dining room offers a comfortable and relaxing social space with leather sofa and chairs arranged around the cosy log burning stove and TV. The family dining table is ideal for hearty family breakfasts or relaxing dinners with friends. The adjacent high quality fitted kitchen is equipped with quality appliances that include electric induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer drier.
The bedrooms are arranged over the upper floors of the house, on the first floor the master bedroom, with traditional bay window, super king bed and en-suite shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC. The welcoming second bedroom is presented with super king size bed. On the half landing between the ground floor and the first floor there is an additional WC and above this on the half landing between the first and second floor there is a small shower room.
The final bedroom is located on the second floor and is also presented with a super king size bed and is accompanied by an adjacent, luxurious, family bathroom with feature bath, basin and WC.
Steep stairs lead to the very top floor of the house, where the owner has created a media/cinema room in the eves of the house, with large screen TV and comfortable leather bucket chairs – ideal for a night in with your favourite film.
The back door from the kitchen leads to the rear alleyway, ideal if returning from a muddy walk. Though this property does not offer private parking, free on street parking is available in front of the cottage and in the surrounding streets.
Please note that the beds are presented as super king beds, however it is possible to have all bedrooms presented as twin beds to meet your parties’ specific need however please specify your requirements when booking to ensure they are correctly presented prior to your arrival.
