Fabulous base for families and friends to get together in the pretty market town of Keswick. A great base to explore the Lakes either on foot, bike, car or bus. The town is known for the local fells of Skiddaw and Blencathra, or you could conquer the stunning Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities (all within 7 miles). Skiddaw is more challenging, a slightly longer, higher walk at over 3000 feet, and on a clear day you can see for miles. Visit Theatre by the Lake and take in a show, then head to Crow Park which is opposite to get a 360 degree view of the mountains along with stunning views towards the exceptionally beautiful Borrowdale valley. Set over three floors, this property has been lovingly finished to offer comfortable and practical holiday accommodation. As you step through the front door, you will find an entrance hall that leads through to the bright and comfortable lounge with a bay window, TV with a Smart DVD player, electric fire and comfortable sofas. Next door, you will find the open plan kitchen/diner. The dining area has seating for all the parties; it s an ideal place to catch up and contemplate the day s activities and decide what to do next or for enjoying your favourite shows around the TV with DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas range style cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Upstairs on the mid landing, there is a family bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.
