Located at the end of a tree lined track, this secluded farmhouse is perfect for anyone in search of some peace and quiet. Set out on foot to explore this scenic area, taking on the mighty Blencathra via the challenging Sharp Edge. A great base for cyclists and mountain bikers, explore the Glenderaterra Valley before venturing across to the craggy face of Lonscale Fell. Discover local history at the Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum or stock up on supplies in nearby Penrith, 15 miles away, home to a host of independent shops and a regular farmers market. After a busy day, pop into the village of Threlkeld to enjoy a bite to eat at one of the two friendly pubs, both just 1 mile away. Inside, this former farmhouse offers a tasteful blend of old and new as oak beams and flagstone floors combine with fresh decor and contemporary appliances. Leave wet boots and coats in the drying room, where you will also find the washing machine, tumble dryer and additional freezer. Create delicious meals in the stylish bespoke kitchen, which boasts granite worktops, a small dining table and wonderful views of Blencathra from the sink. Fitted with everything you could need, here you will find a range style electric oven and gas hobs, microwave, two fridges, dishwasher and separate pantry.
