The village of Hope offers great amenities for guests of the cottage, including groceries, a railway station and a post office. Of course there is also a local village pub, The Cheshire Cheese Inn for resting those aching legs after traversing the Pennine Way. For those seeking a gentler walk, the nearby Hope Valley offers various walks through its pretty landscape. The River Noe runs along the boundary of the property and provides wonderfully tranquil walks along the riverbanks. This apartment offers a brilliant one level living on the ground floor of the charming stone property. The property is positively brimming with character from the fine oak doors and flooring which gives the property a lovely sense of warmth. The lounge has exposed ceiling beams that give the space a cosy feel, and an electric gas coal effect fire provides a central feature to the room. There are two sofas in the lounge, one of which can be turned into a sofa bed if required. Windows overlooking the patio area ensure that the room is bright and airy. The kitchen is well equipped and opens out into the dining area which has a farmhouse style table. The bedroom is located just off the lounge area and contains a double bed with an additional sofa bed available for occasional use (additional charges apply). The shower room has a small step into the shower and hand basin and toilet. Outside there is a charming private patio area perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the views of the River Noe.
