Over Haddon is a small but very picturesque Peak District village, set peacefully amidst the rolling fields of the White Peak and located on a hill overlooking the beautiful Lathkill Dale. The village lies under 0.25 miles of the pretty market town of Bakewell and the stunning country estate of Haddon Hall. The Chatsworth estate and it s famous farm shop are a short drive away and are well worth a visit. There is no shortage of lovely walks from the village of Over Haddon down to beautiful Lathkill Dale, and the routes down are all well sign posted. From Lathkill Dale the River Lathkill runs to join with the River Wye. Step into the porch of the cottage where you can leave your boots and coat and wander through to the kitchen/diner to make yourself at home. This bright and airy space offers everything you need during your stay including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a handy separate WC on the ground floor, which also has a washer/dryer. Relax on the comfy sofas in the lounge, light the wood burner and relax with something good on the Smart TV. Heading up the stairs there are two bedrooms: a king size bedroom with picturesque views over the dale and a pretty and inviting twin bedroom. Completing the property is the shower room with shower and WC. Outside, the garden boasts lovely views over the Lathkill Dale, there is a patio with seating, perfect for warm evenings of al fresco dinner and drinks. There is a sloping lawn to the bottom of the garden offering a second seating area to enjoy. There is off road parking for one car and easy roadside parking for additional cars if needed.
