Wander up Wensley Dale until you reach the picturesque village of Winster (4 miles) which boasts a village shop, more than seventy listed buildings and two pubs. Matlock town centre is just over a mile away and has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a weekly market and parks. In Autumn the Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are spectacular events. Step into the entrance porch, take off your coat and shoes and head into the warm and inviting cottage. The country style kitchen offers everything you need to make yourself feel at home not forgetting the underfloor heating which is cosy on those chilly days.
