Located on the site of the owners, family run bed and breakfast, the centre of Buxton is less than 1 mile from the property, which provides ample entertainment and a programme full of events. There is also a wide variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops, as well as the famous Opera House and Pavilion Gardens.
Buxton and High Peak Golf Club is just a stone’s throw from the property, and being surrounded by the Peak District National Park means outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy endless amounts of walking and cycling. Both Rushup Moor and the Tissington Trail are close by, and the ever popular Bakewell and beautiful honeypot village of Castleton are around 20 minutes’ drive. The stunning Hope Valley, Goyt Valley and Roman Lakes are around 30 minutes away, as are the magnificent historic houses of Lyme Park, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House. The wonderful market towns of Ashbourne and Matlock can be reached in around a 40-minute drive and for those thrill seekers Britain’s premier theme park Alton Towers can be reached in around 50 minutes.
