Nearby Tansley village is nestled on the edge of the Peak District next to the market town of Matlock. Nearby Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Matlock Bath, all easily accessible by car. There are lovely country walks from the property, the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors and plenty of off road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels. Matlock has a variety of shops, supermarkets, a launderette, cafes, restaurants, pubs, indoor swimming pool, weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well known resort on the River Derwent, visit popular Heights of Abraham or Gulliver s Kingdom with the family, enjoy fish and chips, cable cars and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn. This spacious accommodation, set all on one level, offers a warm welcome, stepping into the entrance area is an ideal place to kick off your boots and coats and wander through to the kitchen.
