Resting in the centre of Castleton, in the heart of the Peak District National Park, is The Gables. Set over two floors and sleeping up to six guests, The Gables is a well-located setting for your next Peak District adventure, within easy reach of Hope Valley and Buxton. A large wooden gate at the side of the property hides the driveway, with room for two cars, and the enclosed garden, so that you can feel the privacy as you enjoy a barbecue on the patio or a dip in the hot tub. Inside, the property greets you with a boot room where you can leave any coats or muddy shoes before stepping into the fully-equipped dining kitchen. Moving on further into the dining room where the dining table used to enjoy an evening meal with your loved ones can soon turn into a pool table and / or table tennis table to bring some holiday entertainment to The Gables, and if this isn't your thing then you can unwind in the comfy sitting room, in front of the TV and the warming woodburning stove. Continuing to impress as you move upstairs, the property hosts three nicely decorated bedrooms, all with en-suites; the first is a twin room with a en-suite spa bath to indulge in, and the others are a king-size and a double, both with en-suite showers and ample storage space to unpack any personal belongings. Just a stone's throw away, there is an abundance of shops, cafés, real ale pubs and restaurants to explore or stroll a little further to find Peveril Castle. Castleton is in the heart of the Peak District, so venture around the hills to find yourself in walking, cycling, birdwatching, paragliding, rock climbing and caving heaven, or go a little further to the spa town of Buxton to find the Opera House, the Museum and Art Gallery, a handful of parks and gardens, or spoil yourself with the choice of even more pubs and restaurants. For a picturesque trip to Derbyshire, choose The Gables. The property is available for 2,3,4 and 7 night breaks with start dates on Monday and / or Friday.
