A similar distance away is Appledore, home to more restaurants, pubs and shops and a little fishing boat ferry that heads across to Instow beach. Don’t forget to visit the amenities of Bideford, including the Art Gallery and Museum and the Railway Heritage Centre, so there really is plenty to do nearby!
