The Milking Parlour – ideal for groups and families
>The Milking Parlour sleeps up to 16, in six bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The barn was originally used back in 1750 as the Milking Parlour for Hills Farm, we have converted and restored this barn using natural products and original techniques, incorporating modern technologies and ecologically friendly materials, such as air source heat pumps and solar panels. Our own natural spring provides water to the entire farm.
The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen are extremely spacious with panoramic views over the Axe Valley out to the Jurassic coastline. Ground floor space is tiled with underfloor heating, this keeps you cool in summer and toasty in winter. There is a small garden area to use to relax and maybe BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for large groups, with two ovens and a large fridge/freezer. The dining table seats 16 and the lounge is very relaxing, with large, comfy sofas, LCD flat screen TV and , let's not forget the free wi-fi.
