Centrally situated in this charming village with its many character cottages, friendly pub offering meals and with childrens playground, village cricket pitch and ancient church. Surrounded by lovely rolling countryside and just a short walk to the Tarka Trail, which provides miles of magnificent walking or cycling (cycles for hire locally). Just a mile's walk along the Tarka Trail brings you to the lovely sandy beach at Instow - much favoured by yachtsmen and windsurfers. The historic port of Bideford, amenities of Barnstaple and wide sandy beach, golf course, entertainments etc. of Westward Ho! are all within ten minutes drive.
Accommodation retains much of its 200 year old character and is furnished to quite modest yet comfortable standards throughout. Two bedrooms, both with Victorian fireplaces and pine furnishings - spacious double with estuary views and twin bedded. Older style bathroom/wc with heated towel rail. Beamed living/dining room with TV, video, DVD, cottage style suite, pine table and open stone fireplace (fuel available locally). Fitted kitchen with oak units, elec cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge/ freezer. Small flower bed area to front. Private parking for one car adjacent.
