Guests are welcome to roam the owner's farmland, which offers panoramic views across rolling hillsides. There is easy access to local footpaths and bridleways with the Millennium Green close to the centre of the village offering circular woodland walks, an enclosed children's play area and assault course. An ideal base from which to explore the sweeping landscape, which is a haven for wildlife, including the famous Exmoor deer. All the town centre amenities of Barnstaple including, cinema, theatre, pannier market and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive away, and the picturesque sandy coves around Combe Martin and dramatic Exmoor coastline are also within a scenic 10 mile journey.
Each cottage retains many character features including exposed beams and feature stone walls and the accommodation has been furnished and equipped to an excellent standard throughout, including central heating and wood burning stoves to ensure year round warmth.
