Enjoy relaxed days out exploring the dramatic scenery of the Jurassic Coastline or while away an afternoon in the nearby town of Bridport, which has a good selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as a vibrant arts scene and vintage market where you can seek out interesting curios. West Bay is also within easy reach and is a lovely spot to spend time watching the comings and goings in the harbour or relaxing on the beach. Part of a courtyard of character buildings, the main entrance is accessed through head through a picket gate. Once inside you are met with a cosy lounge/diner. Full of character features, this welcoming room has a wood burner and TV for those chilly winter evenings in. Dining space opposite is the perfect spot for enjoying leisurely meals together. Leading off of the lounge is the charming contemporary kitchen. This well equipped space has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. When the day is done, take the stairs to the first floor, where there is a spacious super king size bedroom (can be arranged as a twin on request). Next door is a pretty double bedroom with en suite shower and WC. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with hand held shower and WC. Heading outside there are compact courtyard gardens to the front and rear, where you can unwind with a drink whilst watching the world go by in this vibrant countryside hub. Parking can be found in a free public car park approx. 50m from the property (subject to availability). Unloading possible directly outside of the cottage.
