New for 2021
Bell Hatch is one of three recently renovated semi-detached holiday cottages in the New Forest village of Sopley. Set on one level, it is the largest of the cottages, which are located just off a peaceful lane next to the church and overlooking paddocks. The cottage is beautifully finished, has underfloor heating and vaulted ceilings throughout and is perfect for a family or two couples. It is also suitable for the less mobile, with an access ramp to the front door and wider internal doorways.
The open plan living area is at the heart of the cottage, offering a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Both en-suite bedrooms lead from this main living area, and French doors in the master bedroom open out onto the sunny rear courtyard. There is parking on the private driveway and access to the shared laundry and covered bike racks. Bikes can be hired locally.
Situated on the edge of the New Forest National Park, the cottage is well placed both for exploring the Forest, and the coast, with the beautiful sandy Avon beach and Christchurch Harbour just a 10 minute drive away. A short stroll down the lane takes you to the local village pub. The Avon Valley footpath runs from Christchurch to Salisbury and passes through Sopley.
Please note Bell Hatch can be booked with School House (property code A431) and/or The Study (property code A432) to sleep up to 8 guests.
