This Dorset village is the perfect base for days spent enjoying long walks or riding through the spectacular countryside that surrounds it. The nearby village centre is complete with a pub, galleries and tea rooms, ideal for whiling away an afternoon. The nearest town, Bridport, is easily accessible and has a varied selection of shops selling both essential supplies and vintage treasures. Heading towards the coast ,you will find West Bay where you can admire the boats on the harbour and take a walk on the beach. The dramatic scenery of the Jurassic Coast offers something for everyone and, with good road links nearby, you will be ideally placed for exploring this popular area. A private driveway leads to this detached cottage from a country lane. The main entrance can be found to the front of the property, accessed via a gravel path that takes you through the garden. Once inside, you are met with a spacious entrance hall giving access to the utility room, complete with washing machine and tumble dryer. To the left of the hallway is the lounge. Full of character features, this welcoming room has a TV and an inglenook fireplace with wood burner for those chilly evenings in. Heading across the hall brings you to the charming country style kitchen/diner. This well equipped space has an electric range style oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. When the day is done, take the stairs from the entrance hall to the first floor where you can choose from the three lovely bedrooms, two of which are super king size and have an en suite shower and WC. The third bedroom is a super king size zip and link (and can be arranged as a twin on request). A bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the accommodation. Heading outside via the main entrance door brings you into the pretty garden, which is mostly laid to lawn with flower beds to be admired. Immediately to the front of the cottage, you will find a wonderful patio area that really makes the most of this secluded setting. Here you can sit at the table and unwind with a drink or head around the side of the cottage to take a dip in the hot tub. A games barn with table tennis and table football is the ideal place to stage a tournament with the family. Off road parking for four cars is available to the front of the property.
