Chi a Gres is our coastal “home away from home”. An exceptional 3-bedroom seaside home, situated in the quintessential Cornish town of Mount Hawk. Only a pleasant 5-minute journey to one of Cornwall’s most popular surfing beaches; the wonderful Blue Flag Porthtowan beach. Cuddled by soft golden sand, large sweeping dunes, and dramatic cliffs. You could spend the day making memories in the sunshine or take in the breath-taking views along the trail paths. At low tide you can explore the neighbouring, equally as stunning beach at Chapel Porth to the East.
Chi a Gris is only 8 miles from Truro; a cathedral city offering an array of shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants to suit everybody’s requirements. There is plenty more to explore such as Daubuz Moors; a haven of glorious wildlife to enhance your stay.
The town of Redruth is also just a 5-mile drive which is famous for; gorgeous gardens and iconic attractions. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Minack Theatre, Land’s End, Tintagel Castle and the Eden Project are all within an hours drive. And if you fancy dining out, The Unicorn pub is a 5 minute drive away.
Our beachy abode consists of 3 beautifully designed, double bedrooms which can peacefully sleep 6 adults. In addition to this, the property is equipped with a sofa bed in the main bedroom, transforming it into a family room. This extra bed can comfortably sleep 2 small children or 1 adult.
