Head straight out into the hills of the Brecon Beacons from this inviting holiday home at Bwlch. The two bedroom period cottage, which sleeps up to three guests, looks out over the beautiful Usk Valley and towards the Black Mountains. Go climbing, caving or horse riding in the national park. From your front door, walk approximately 5 miles to the largest natural lake in South Wales, at Llangorse. Go fishing, sailing or windsurfing while you are here. Visit the medieval manor house of Tretower Court and Castle and then venture into Crickhowell, 6 miles, from your cottage to browse in the pretty town, see the castle ruins and perhaps enjoy a meal out. Feel immediately at home within this traditional cottage, entered via one step. Relax in the cosy lounge, where an electric wood burner effect fire has been fitted into a large stone fireplace. Search for your favourite programme on TV or settle down in front of a DVD. Wander through to the kitchen/diner to make yourself a cup of tea or to prepare a delicious dinner. Sit around the table together to enjoy your meal. A family bathroom, complete with bath with shower over, and WC, is on the ground floor too. Both of the bedrooms can be found upstairs, capturing superb views down the Usk Valley and over towards the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Return home on warm days to sit out on the patio to the front of your cottage. Light the BBQ to enjoy dinner out in the fresh air or simply have a sundowner before heading inside. Parking for one car is available.
