Situated in the heart of Berriew village, this pretty, terraced, black and white cottage was once part of the Vaynor Estate, and is within walking distance of a bowling club, tennis club, football pitch, and playground all within Berriew village. The property occupies a prime position beside the River Rhiw, where guests have shared access to the river bank, and backs on to the pretty churchyard of the historic St Beuno’s Church. Berriew is located near the popular, historic town of Welshpool which offers plenty of local amenities. Nearby you can also find the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture, Gregynog Hall, Powys Castle and the Montgomery Canal and the Welshpool and Llanfair Steam Railway which runs between Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion. Golfers have the choice of three courses within a 15-mile radius of the property. Only a 15-minute drive across the border into Shropshire you can find a number of fun filled activities including quad trekking, paintballing, go-karting and horse riding. The Cambrian coast and parts of Snowdonia are just over an hours drive away. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
