The area is a paradise for walkers just a couple of miles from Offa s Dyke National Trail, one of the country's longest walking trails. This cottage is a perfect base for exploring the stunning Mid and North Wales countryside, excellent for walking and cycling for all ability levels with gentle trails to more adrenaline filled mountain routes. Powis Castle and Gardens are 4.5 miles away and well worth a visit. The medieval towns of Shrewsbury (19 miles) and Bishops Castle (15 miles) offer more fantastic days out with unique, independent shops and fantastic pubs and restaurants. After a busy day exploring the wonderful area, head back to the property which has been renovated with comfort in mind to be able to truly relax and unwind. Enter the barn conversion and straight into the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The spacious, double height room is finished to a high standard throughout. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV creating an ideal space to relax and catch up on your favourite films. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self catered stay, perhaps making use of some of the fantastic local produce you may have picked up whilst exploring the area. There is a lovely dining table which will comfortably seat your group. The first bedroom is up on the mezzanine level and has a super king size bed. Downstairs is the second bedroom, which is a super king size zip and link (can be made as a twin on request). To complete the accommodation is the stylish shower room. Heading outside, there s a delightful balcony patio area with outdoor furniture for the guest s exclusive use, a great space to enjoy a drink or dine alfresco. There is another beautiful garden area which is shared with the owners and has further seating.
