The owners have created a fantastic rural retreat with this lovely property, nestled on Long Mountain within the historic Leighton Estate. The area is a paradise for walkers just a couple of miles from Offa s Dyke National Trail, one of the country's longest walking trails. This cottage is a perfect base for exploring the stunning Mid and North Wales countryside, excellent for walking and cycling for all ability levels with gentle trails to more adrenaline filled mountain routes. Powis Castle and Gardens are 4.5 miles away and well worth a visit. The medieval towns of Shrewsbury (19 miles) and Bishops Castle (15 miles) offer more fantastic days out with unique, independent shops and fantastic pubs and restaurants. After a busy day exploring the wonderful area, head back to the property which has been renovated with comfort in mind to be able to truly relax and unwind. Enter the barn conversion and straight into the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The spacious, double height room is finished to a high standard throughout.
