The small village of Llanfihangel Talyllyn is just 1 mile from the property and there are easy walking routes that take you straight there. In the village, you will find a cosy pub and a shop for your essentials. Other walking routes in the area take you up into the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Llangorse and Llangorse Lake are 4 miles from here, where you can partake in water sports activities or fishing. The literary town of Hay on Wye can be reached in 14 miles and is well worth a visit for book or history lovers. This beautiful stone cottage is bright and spacious. Step into a large entrance hall which leads to an open plan kitchen and dining area. Original beams, oak windows and slate floor throughout the property highlight the building s previous purpose as a cattle shed on the farm. The kitchen is a great size, with plenty of room to cook and prepare food, as well as a dining table and six chairs for entertaining. The living room has a lovely wood burner for those cosy evenings in, as well as large glass doors leading to the front and rear of the property, allowing plenty of light in during the day. There is also a downstairs WC, and a useful cupboard for storing coats and boots. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, with a large window providing views across the garden and beyond. You will find two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has a zip and link king size bed plus a single bed in the corner. Both bedrooms are en suite one with a shower over the bath, the other with a corner shower. The incredible views surrounding the property can be admired from the beautiful garden. Both the front lawn and the back garden are well maintained, and stunning places to enjoy panoramic views. To the rear of the barn is a flagstone terrace with seating for six and a couple of sun loungers. Enjoy watching the sun set over the Brecon Beacons. There is plenty of parking to the front of the property, and you will find this a peaceful and tranquil place to stay.
