The barn is surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park, though just 1 mile from the small village of Llanfihangel Talyllyn which is well served with a village pub. This area of the national park is great for outdoor adventures, with Llangorse Lake only 4 miles away where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, or fishing boat. Other local activities include climbing, mountain biking and horse riding. BikePark Wales, the beautiful Waterfall walks at Pont Nedd Fechan and Zip World at Tower Colliery, Rhigos are all within a 30 mile radius. There are some lovely market towns close by too, such as Hay on Wye which is known as the town of books, Crickhowell, and Brecon, all within 14 miles. This relaxing retreat enjoys a peaceful location within the grounds of a working farm. While it was converted in 2020, the barn still retains lots of original features and the space mixes old oak barn beams with modern comfortable living. Step inside the spacious entrance hall and take a seat whilst you remove muddy boots after a day of exploring. The entrance hall offers access to a utility cupboard with a washing machine, microwave, and small freezer. From here you have access to the bedrooms. There is a choice of three bedrooms, a king size bedroom with TV and en suite shower and WC, a double, and a bunk bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The wooden stairs offer access to the first floor, an open plan space with a vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams and feature light fittings. The end of the room enjoys a large picture window elegantly framing views of Pen y Fan. There is a lounge with Smart TV, a large dining table and chairs that are perfect for a celebration supper, and a well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge, and dishwasher. Outside, the barn has access to an enclosed courtyard with a table, chairs, a charcoal BBQ, a fire pit and firewood. There is also an enclosed area that offers secure storage for bikes. There is off road parking to the front for two cars.
