Day permits for fishing on The Rivers Usk & Wye are available in Crickhowell and canoes for the River Wye can be rented in Glasbury. Within 10 miles of Brecon and Builth Wells, discover independent stores, delicious local produce and Welsh heritage sites. Hire mountain bikes and enjoy pony trekking at Cantref Adventure Farm, or try sailing, paddle boarding and kayaking at Llangorse Lake. Tackle Pen y Fan, the largest peak in South Wales in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, or Cefn Llechid with views to the Black Mountains and the Sugar Loaf. A real home from home, this delightful cottage has been tastefully decorated with everything provided for. In a lovely peaceful setting with spectacular views, make the most of the bountiful Welsh countryside from right outside the door. Designed for socialising, the open plan living space is the hub of the house for everyone to gather, whether for a meal at the dining table or on the sofas for a film. The well equipped beech finish kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine/dryer. The dining table seats six guests so gather for many a home cooked meal or perhaps a board game. In the evenings retire to the comfortable sitting area and relax with a film and a cup of tea on the leather sofas and chairs. A shower room and a twin bedroom, both with one step up to them, completes the downstairs. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed and an en suite with a shower, whilst a further twin room has an en suite with a bath. With many footpaths crossing the farm, walk out the door for miles of open space in lush countryside. The large, safe children's play area with swing set and slide provides hours of entertainment, whilst the BBQ and picnic area allow for hours of al fresco dining making the most of the spectacular views. There is a pub and restaurant 2 miles away and a shop 6 miles away.
