Situated a mile outside the peaceful Painscastle village with its traditional village inn, this property sits just above the Begwyns (2.7 miles) 580 acres of National Trust hills and rolling landscape with enviable views across The Brecon Beacon National Park. For the thrill seekers, Brecon Beacons National Park (7 miles) and River Wye have several adventure training providers, including renting a canoe, high rope courses, and gorge walking. Hay on Wye (6 miles) is famous for its International Book Festival and home to an art house cinema, The Globe at Hay, and a number of second hand bookshops and independent shops. Enjoy views across the valley as you arrive on the farm, before accessing the barn via the French doors into an inviting lobby. Leave your boots at the door and step into the hub of the barn; a spacious kitchen/diner that s perfectly set up for entertaining, with an open plan kitchen, warming wood burner and a generously sized dining table backed by valley views, that can accommodate up to eight guests. To the rear of the barn, a small set of steps gives access to a shower room with WC, a double bedroom, and a spacious king size room. This king size room can also be made into twin beds on request and boasts an en suite bath with handheld shower and WC.
