Whilst just 3 miles away is the pleasant town of Kington, renowned as a centre for walking and is surrounded by the pretty rolling hills of The Marches, which offers a choice of good shops, pubs and restaurants. Explore the Mortimer Trail and the lovely walks to Hergest Ridge, the inspiration for the beautiful music of both Elgar and Mike Oldfield. Discover Presteigne, which nestles at the heart of The Marches and has the award winning Judges Lodgings. Also nearby Hay on Wye with its festival and books. Outside: to the rear a covered patio area with seating overlooking the hills, to the side an additional seating area with table and chairs overlooking the wildflower lawns.
