This pretty cottage makes a delightful base for couples exploring the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park, with miles of breathtaking walks and cycle trails to discover. Local attractions include the remains of the Iron Age fort at Pen y Crug (4.5 miles), the highest peak in southern Britain, Pen y Fan (10 miles), Llangorse Lake (10.5 miles), Talgarth Mill (13 miles) and Tretower Castle (16 miles). The popular Cradoc Golf Club is nearby (3 miles) or you could head into the historic and bustling market town of Brecon (4 miles) which has a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a cathedral, a leisure centre with a swimming pool, a theatre and a 1930s style cinema. This charming property has an attractively furnished open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features a wood burner, exposed beams and beautiful views down the valley. The cosy lounge has plenty of seating so you can snuggle up and catch up with a good book or watch a movie on the TV/DVD. The dining area is ideal for sharing your favourite meals, which you can cook in the stylish kitchen area which is equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Heading upstairs you will find the pretty, spacious and lightly decorated bedroom which features a comfortable king size bed, chairs and far reaching views. There s also a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and a WC. French doors lead out from the lounge into a private orchard where you can sit back on the garden furniture with a glass of wine in the evening or share a BBQ. There s ample parking available as well as storage space for mountain bikes and muddy boots.
