Set in a tranquil, rural location on the edge of the village of Llandyssil with far reaching views across rolling farmland and valleys. An absolute treat for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, spend your days relaxing amongst nature in the summer sun, or explore one of the many picturesque footpaths and cycle trails nearby. For keen walkers, the infamous Offa s Dyke trail is just moments away and the beautiful Shropshire Hills can be reached within 17.5 miles. The popular town of Montgomery is just 2 miles away where you can visit the 12th century castle ruins or browse one of the many independent shops and cafes. There is also an excellent 9 hole golf course just a short drive away. This sumptuous lodge is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered, bursting with character and comfort at every turn. Individually architecturally designed and fully bespoke from start to finish, it really is quite unlike anything you will have seen before. Behind the reclaimed Welsh slates on the roof and timber clad exterior that has been sourced from locally grown estates, are impressively high vaulted ceilings boasting exposed beams and luxurious fixtures and fittings. On entering you will be instantly wowed by the dramatic lounge/kitchen/diner with large bi folding doors that wrap around the front to make the most of the panoramic countryside views. Sink back into one of the comfortable sofas in the lounge area and light the AGA swivel wood burner as you watch a movie on the large Smart TV. A bespoke dining table sits in the centre of the room providing plenty of scope for relaxed socialising over lazy lunches or casual suppers. Sit at the breakfast bar, drink in hand, whilst the chef of the group prepares a feast in the well equipped kitchen. No expense has been spared on the best quality appliances, including a Rangemaster electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. The utility room provides plenty of space for outdoor gear, wellies and walking boots and includes a washing machine. There are two beautifully furnished bedrooms on this floor, one super king size with patio doors opening out to the garden and one twin. Both bedrooms benefit from brilliantly stylish artisan wallpaper and their very own en suites with waterfall showers and a WC. A solid oak staircase winds down to the lower ground floor where you can immerse yourself in a truly luxurious retreat. Indulge in your very own 6 person sauna with a Himalayan salt wall and, after you are finished, treat yourself to a cold bottle of water from the drinks fridge or coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. Next door lies an opulent bathroom with a luxury free standing bath, Jack and Jill sinks and a Chroma therapy multi jet shower offering sensations such as rainfall, mist, waterfall and jet. Here you will also find the master bedroom a palatial super king size with floor to ceiling bi folding doors that flood the room with light and open up to the spectacular terrace. The room also boasts a study area so you can catch up on some emails or sit back, relax and read a book whilst taking in the outstanding views of the rolling hills that surround you. Outside the garden rolls into the neighbouring farmland with breath taking far reaching views as far as the eye can see. Enjoy a soak in the bubbling hot tub or sip your morning coffee outside and watch the local wildlife from the raised patio. Some steps lead down to a spectacular terrace area boasting a wood fired pizza oven and a gas BBQ for dining al fresco with your family. Being in an area of dark skies, this is the perfect spot for stargazing in the evening whilst soaking in the luxury submerged hot tub.
