England Shelve Farmhouse is an idyllic large luxury self-catering holiday farmhouse perfect for walkers and family groups alike, in beautiful countryside in this most tranquil and attractive part of South Shropshire. The house has 4 large bedrooms all en-suite and sleeps up to 8 people. [One bedroom is on the ground floor] There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with French Doors leading out to a garden area with barbecue and suitable garden furniture. The kitchen gives on to the spacious Sitting Room which has large comfortable sofas, and relaxing chairs. There is a wood burner for cosy evenings and TV and DVD player. This too has French doors onto a raised decking area which has seating and panoramic views across the valley.
England Shelve Farmhouse nestles on the hillside, surrounded by farmland in this area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Bishops Castle, with magnificent views south to the Long Mynd.
The farmhouse is accessed by its own drive and there is ample parking for at least 4 cars. The owner’s house is about 25 metres behind the farmhouse. There are three pubs and a village store within easy access.
The town of Bishop’s Castle is ten minutes away, with a good delicatessen, a butcher and two small supermarkets. There are several interesting cafes, pubs and more than one micro brewery, brewing very popular local beers. The ThreeTuns is the oldest licensed brewery in England.

Historic Coalbrookdale museums at Ironbridge.
Shrewsbury: the county town with all modern facilities including theatre, multiplex cinema and many restaurants. Annual Flower Festival (August)

The Long Mynd, Offa’s Dyke, the Shropshire Way and the Stiperstones are all nearby.
