Butterfly Sound is a substantial and spacious property that can accommodate up to 11. Nestled in a tranquil corner of the estate with views of the brook and Somerford Lagoon, the property is perfect for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy the outdoor setting. The house also has a sizeable side garden which traps the evening sun and is perfect for dining al fresco as well as a large terrace to the rear of the house which is accessed from the living and dining area.
Inside, you’ll find a vast open plan living and kitchen area boasting a double height atrium and south-facing views. An array of stylish and comfortable furniture adds to the contemporary feel throughout the property.
KITCHEN
A spacious, modern kitchen and very well-equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, single oven with gas hob over. There is also a separate utility room with sink and washer/dryer. Fully equipped to accommodate 11 guests.
GROUND FLOOR LOUNGE/DINING AREA
The living area at Butterfly Sound benefits from plenty of natural light from the full height windows and doors which run across the rear of the house. There is also a double height atrium.
The main sitting area is centred around the wood-burning stove where there is a varied selection of seating including a coffee table with four pouffe style seats around it. There is also a 42” 3D enabled TV with home cinema system and DVD player. The TV is wireless enabled and so it is possible to watch the latest movies straight from your own film account (such as Lovefilm) or just dive into BBC iPlayer. Don’t forget to bring your own 3D glasses. The home cinema is also Bluetooth enabled so you can play all your favourite tunes within seconds of arriving.
BEDROOMS
The first floor accommodates the master bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is a further twin bedroom which can be converted to a double (through zip-lock mechanism) should guests require, a bunk bed room with pull out truckle bed suitable for children only. There is also a first floor family bathroom.
To the second floor there is a further double bedroom and another twin bedroom as well as a family bathroom with an integrated hand-held shower attachment.
OUTSIDE SPACE
The ground floor opens out onto a large decked area complete with charcoal BBQ and seating for 12 on an array of different stylish garden furniture.
The master bedroom and bedroom two also benefit from a south-facing balcony with a bistro table and chairs for two.

Central heating throughout. Towels and bed linen provided. Two dogs allowed per booking. Travel cot and high chair available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at time of booking. Free Wi-Fi, one allocated parking space, overflow parking.

Please note the nearest canoe launch point is located near to Mill Village as marked on the Estate Map.
As all our properties are privately owned bedding does differ, If you are allergic to feathers please enquire with the team, you may wish to bring your own bedding.
N.B Please note, Somerford Lagoon lake is closed from October - March due to nesting birds.
We have a spa onsite with a bracing outdoor eco-pool, naturally filtered by water lilies. There are two more 20m heated pools – one indoor and one outdoor, a steam room, a sauna and a technogym. Treatments are also available at the spa.
We have Tennis and MUGA counts onsite along with our lakeside nature reserve which is comprised of eight lakes, two rivers and miles of walking trails.
You will also find The Activity Hub onsite and they manage all the equipment hire of bikes, canoes and kayaks - there's something for everyone!
To uphold the ethos of the estate, it does not allow for large single sex groups or excessive noise after 11.00pm. A code of conduct will need to be acknowledged and signed prior to arrival. Please read carefully the policies stated below before booking.

Located in Cirencester, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Thames Path and Cirencester Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Lakeside Ski & Wake and Combat Splat. Royal British Legion Remembrance Garden and Cerney House Gardens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
