Bourton on the Water is one of the most popular destinations in the Cotswolds region with the gently flowing River Windrush running through the centre of the village and crossed by attractive little bridges. The area is great for families with Birdland Park and The Model Village, a 1/9th scale replica of the centre of the village, all within half a mile of the property. The surrounding countryside has an abundance of walking trails with access to The Cotswold and Winchcombe Way from the village. The area has Cotswold Farm Park and many National Trust properties to explore nearby including Chedworth Roman Villa (10 miles) and Snowshill Manor (12 miles). The beautiful village of Stow on the Wold is 4 miles away and well worth a day trip and Regency Cheltenham is just 15 miles away. This holiday escape has a charming open plan kitchen/diner, fully equipped with everything you need for a self catered break and the dining table (that will comfortably seat six) is positioned in front of the warming wood burner. There is a downstairs WC and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer too. The lovely lounge has comfortable seating and a TV, perfect to unwind and catch up on your favourite TV show. On the first floor, there are two delightful double bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. On the second floor, there is the principal bedroom with a king bed boasting its own en suite shower room. From the lounge, there are French doors that lead out to the enclosed small garden and patio area, which has outdoor furniture and a BBQ to enjoy.
