This traditional Georgian ground floor seaside apartment in an elevated position is full of character and has a very desirable location right on the edge of Barmouth. Barmouth is a very lively spot with its cafés, pubs, shops, museums, galleries, harbour, sea and miles of golden sandy beach. With endless amounts of beautiful views over the estuary and across to Cader Idris Mountain range which can be enjoyed from either the living room or the secret shared garden located on top of the steep hill behind the house just a short walk away; it is breath taking.
Inside Sea and Sands, you will notice the period features in the lounge with high ceilings and character. It is a comfortable and large space for everyone to relax and enjoy. There’s games, books and Sky TV, plus a large dining table to enjoy a meal with everyone. The kitchen is well equipped for those well-earned mealtimes, including an electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. There are two bedrooms, one a large kingsize room with fabulous views over the estuary, and a spacious twin with en-suite shower room and toilet. There is plenty of space for everyone to get together and enjoy this lovely location.
Sea and Sands is the ideal place to bring your family or a small group of friends. For walking, you have the Wales Coastal Path, and the Snowdonia Mountain ranges within easy reach. For relaxing days out, there are scenic train-rides and endless attractions including Harlech Castle and Portmeirion’s Italian Village. Activities on offer include stand-up paddle-boarding, boat trips, fishing, sea swimming, rock climbing, walking and cycling. Head to Coed-y-Brenin for mountain biking, Royal St David’s for the links golf course in Harlech or for adrenaline seekers there’s Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog.
There are many historic sites, castles, museums and events to be enjoyed. Being close to southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, and superb fishing, alongside the wonderful scenery. There is something for everyone here all year round. Head out to explore the best coast, countryside and culture in Southern Snowdonia and North Wales.
