Tucked away in the sought-after village of Treaddur Bay, Anglesey, is this contemporary reverse-level former boathouse, launched in May 2022 and aptly named, The Boathouse. Boasting exceptional sea views from its interior and close proximity to an excellent selection of Blue Flag beaches, The Boathouse is a coastal haven for couples or a family of four. Park-up on the spacious driveway which has room for four cars, before unloading your bags with ease and making your way into your new home from home. On the ground floor, you will find two well-presented bedrooms to return to after a day of adventure, the first being a king-size with en-suite shower room, a bespoke headboard with storage and French doors which can be opened to showcase stunning sea views as you slumber on the White Company Linen. The second bedroom also boasts its own en-suite, as well as twin beds, also with the luxury of White Company Linen, (can be linked to king-sized), ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for all parties. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room, perfect for popping sandy clothes on a spin after a day at the beach. Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you are welcomed into a spacious open-plan living area, here you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, with handy dishwasher, ready to savour at the dining table for four over a celebratory bottle of fizz. After dinner, relax on the L-shaped sofa where you can snuggle up in front of your favourite show on the Smart TV, with a backdrop of breath-taking sea views from the large picture window, as the gas fire adds a warmth and glow to the space. Explore your local surroundings, where you will find the gloriously sandy beaches of Porth Diana and Traeth Treaddur right on your doorstep, here you can bathe with your favourite book, paddle the shores or try your hand at a selection of watersports, including kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, followed by a delicious meal at the Seacroft bar and restaurant. Wildlife enthusiasts are well-catered for with the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve nearby, filled with an array of plant life including the spotted rock rose, Anglesey’s county flower. Those looking to test out their clubs whilst on holiday can do so at the excellent Beach Golf Course which overlooks the stunning bay as you play, or at the nearby 18-hole Holyhead Golf Course. Take the short drive over to Holyhead, where you can easily access the scenic Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, indulge in bird watching at the renowned South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Nature Reserve or tuck-in to a homemade picnic at the picturesque Holyhead Breakwater and Country Park with leisurely walking trails to enjoy afterwards. For a memorable excursion, why not hop aboard a ferry and travel to Dublin where you can sample the Irish life for a day? Add a touch of style to your North Wales getaway with a stay at The Boathouse.
