An-Teallach is a superb holiday home from home in the beautiful forest village of Nethy Bridge in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Cairngorms National Park.
Our holiday home has been renovated to a very high standard and is warm and welcoming with 5 bedrooms set out to sleep 10 people. It is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village of Nethy Bridge in the Abernethy Forest. It is surrounded by natural Caledonian Forest which is part of the RSPB Loch Garten Nature Reserve where the first pair of Ospreys returning to Britain successfully bred. Set in a quiet location amongst the trees we have been very lucky to have a range of the local wildlife visiting on a regular basis including deer, squirrels, pheasants, pine martin and several different bird species including woodpeckers, owls, crested tits and treecreepers to name but a few.
There are great walks and bike rides from the house and the Speyside way runs not far from the house. In the village centre there is a local convenience shop and post office, ATM, butchers, hotel and bar, playing fields, tennis courts and children's play park.
We have visited the area year after year and totally love all it has to offer from the breath-taking scenery, local wildlife, outdoor activities and attractions. All year round there is so much to see and do. You can go walking, mountain biking, skiing, horse riding, golfing, fishing, malt whisky trail, bird-watching and much more! There is certainly something for everyone! Nethy Bridge is very central and is easy accessible to the large range of activities and attractions available.
An Teallach is very spacious inside with high ceilings and lots of natural light and also benefits from an extensive private garden area. It would suit larger families or more than one family getting together. The house is owned privately and our aim is to make sure that your stay is really relaxed and comfortable and you enjoy staying in our holiday home as much as we do!
Located in Nethy Bridge, this vacation home is in a rural area. Abernethy Golf Club and Boat of Garten Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Loch Garten Osprey Centre and Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Wildlife are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
