Situated in an attractive courtyard, this property is surrounded by open fields stretching out towards the Downs. A short stroll will bring you to the nearby village of Godshill, home to a variety of tearooms, restaurants and pubs. A wonderful walking area, footpaths lead from the farm to Appuldurcombe House and join the extensive Stenbury Trail to Ventnor for its lovely beach. Two other stunning sandy beaches, Shanklin and Sandown, are only a short drive away. This barn conversion has been artfully designed to provide light and stylish accommodation with stunning rural views. The front door opens into a lovely hallway with an exposed staircase and plenty of room to leave coats, boots and bags. On the ground floor, the kitchen includes an electric oven, 2 ring electric hob, additional electric range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Once prepared, enjoy meals in the pleasant dining room next door featuring gorgeous hardwood floors and with a table and chairs for the whole group. At the end of a long day on foot, relax and unwind together in the cosy lounge where you will find comfortable seating, a cosy rug, fireplace with electric coal effect heater and a TV/DVD. Upstairs, the open galleried landing leads to three charming bedrooms with exposed stone walls and ceiling beams. There is one double with en suite bathroom, one twin and one room with a triple sleeper bunk bed suitable for two adults and a child sleeping above, or just two children. There is also a separate shower room. Outside there is a lovely enclosed lawn garden with a picnic bench for enjoying al fresco meals in the sunshine. This can be accessed by the front door and by heading around the side of the cottage. Cars can be parked close to the cottage.
