The famous cycle path which runs from Sandown to Cowes is easily accessible from your doorstep and is perfect for walkers, cyclists, and dogs. If it s sandy beaches and turquoise waters that are more your style then you are spoilt for choice with Sandown, Seaview, Freshwater, and Ventnor less than 10 miles away. There are many attractions within 3 miles including Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was once held prisoner; Godshill idyllic village with its thatched cottages, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Arreton Barns with its cluster of arts and crafts shops, a maritime museum, farm shop and pub on site. And close by The Garlic Farm with its restaurant, locally grown produce shop and resident peacocks are a must visit. Or you may wish to visit Osborne House where Queen Victoria and Albert built their impressive Italianate residence with gardens sweeping down to the sea.
