Town: On the east bank of the River Medina, in the northern part of the Isle of Wight, is the town of East Cowes. The Cowes Floating Bridge connects the neighbouring town of Cowes. The historic Osbourne House, where Queen Victoria once resided, is one of the fascinating attractions in East Cowes. Another is the classic Boat Museum, where you can learn about wonderful stories involving beautiful boats, as well as the East Cowes Heritage Centre, which offers information about the neighbourhood. The East Cowes Marina, a tranquil neighbour to the crowded marinas in Cowes, is one of the town's main attractions. The 500-meter-south marina, which has 360 berths, is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the summer and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter.
Located in Newport, this cottage is in a rural area. Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Bembridge Beach.
