This stylish, Grade II listed cottage is set on a quiet pedestrianised street overlooking St Leonards Church in Hythe and makes for a great seaside break. Hythe is a delightful market town that offers a wealth of independent shops and a fine selection of restaurants, cafes, and pubs, all within 0.25 of the cottage. The local beach is just 0.5 miles away and is perfect for families with its gentle shelving beach as well as a variety of water sports on offer including windsurfing and kitesurfing. Old and young alike will enjoy a trip on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch railway which runs from Hythe through to Dungeness. The front door of this beautiful property opens into a small lobby where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the comfortably furnished lounge that features a sofa, and two comfortable armchairs arranged around the beautiful inglenook fireplace that houses the Smart TV. From the lounge, there are two steps up into the kitchen/diner that features everything you will need for whipping up a delicious meal including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, and microwave. The central island with four stools is the perfect spot for relaxed mealtimes and there are stairs from the kitchen that lead up to the first floor where you will find two comfortable bedrooms. The first on offer is a sumptuous super king with views across to the local churchyard and out to sea and the second is a cosy bunk room with sea views. The bunk bed is suitable for either two children or one adult as the top bunk is slightly shorter than a standard size. Both bedrooms share the shower room which features a walk in shower and WC. Outside at the rear of the cottage, you'll discover a pretty garden that is a wonderful sun trap throughout the day and offers sea views across the rooftops of Hythe. Here you will find comfortable patio seating and a charcoal BBQ for relaxed entertaining. There is unrestricted roadside parking available 50m from the property (subject to availability) accessed via a flight of steps.
