The impressive couples retreat is in the peaceful village of Arkholme, set within an immaculate 12 acre estate of the main house. Close by is the pretty village of Kirkby Lonsdale (6 miles) where you can enjoy browsing a variety of independent shops and lots of choices for a meal or drink. Stride out from your front door through the magical Lune Valley or hop in the car to investigate the show caves of the Yorkshire Dales (13 miles). Other places of interest include Leighton Hall Estate, Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway, Warton Crag Nature Reserve, or Lancaster Castle all within a 10.5 mile radius. Or for those that enjoy lazy beach days head to Silverdale or Morecambe beach both within an 11.5 mile radius. Heading up the steps to this one level cottage, which is set within the main house grounds, yet where privacy is assured. The lounge has been tastefully furnished with comfort in mind. Two sofas surround the heart of the room, with a dining area and Smart TV so snuggle up after a day of exploring and watch a movie or two. From here there are also views towards the grounds. The kitchen has all you need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or a romantic meal to enjoy. Head on down the hall to the spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage and an en suite shower room. Outside is a secluded lawn with seating to enjoy a nice glass of wine after a day out exploring this amazing region. Shared with the main house are 12 acres of this amazing estate to enjoy plenty of walks or just roam around.
