The Cottage is the perfect hub for a small family or couple. It can sleep up to five people upstairs in a large fell view double room and cosy single. The snug is a comfortable place to curl up with a book, or take advantage of the full Sky package, and also provides extra sleeping capacity on a luxury sofa bed.
The fully equipped kitchen has all you’ll need for your break away, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob, slow cooker and Nespresso machine. There’s a dining table and chairs in the spacious hallway directly next to the kitchen, with views of Burn Fell through the traditional front door. The Cottage is our only property that has access both at the front and back of the property.
The kitchen leads out onto a patio and spacious communal yard looking out across the Forest of Bowland. There’s barbeques for each property, so you can make the most of the panoramic views directly at your doorstep.

The Farmhouse and Cottage offer the perfect retreat within the charm of a 16th century Pennine longhouse. They have interconnecting doors, so each property can be used independently or together for larger groups. Both properties are pet friendly.
The Farmhouse and Cottage benefit from gorgeous panoramic views, which you can enjoy from one of the several seating areas in the spacious yard, as well as preparing delicious holiday barbecues.
Laythams Farmhouse and Cottage is ideally situated if you’re looking to escape from the stresses of everyday life and retreat into the countryside. Even on incredibly busy days, we’re lucky enough to only have about a dozen vehicles passing the gates of the farm. Despite this, there are plenty of amenities within a short walking distance and an abundance of nearby activities to try during your holiday.
For a romantic break away look no further than our gorgeous Hayloft. You’ll be charmed immediately by the Hayloft’s splendid views of the beautiful Forest of Bowland, wood burner and luxurious ensuite bathroom. Intimate meals may be enjoyed outside at the private terrace, inside overlooking the glorious scenery, or nearby at one of the many excellent local country pubs and restaurants. Privacy, peace, luxury, relaxation, enhanced by great facilities, make this a perfect haven for any couple. Please be aware that we accept pets at the Hayloft on request.
The Lakehouse is the ideal discreet getaway for couples, families and groups of friends. Set over 3 acres with its own private woodland and lake, it’s easily accessible, yet off the beaten track. The perfect place to reconnect without giving up any of life’s luxuries. The Lakehouse is also the ideal venue for small scale executive think tank weekends and business meeting space.
This cottage is located in Clitheroe. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Yorkshire Dales National Park and Forest of Bowland, while The Grand and Clitheroe Castle are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Bowland Wild Boar Park and Stydd Gardens. Discover the area's water adventures with parasailing and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails and cycling.
