Other things to note
With its annual Abergavenny Food Festival, the town is also a mecca for foodies – and there are plenty of gorgeous gastro pubs, ancient inns and restaurants to try in the surrounding countryside too. There is a local pub, The Red Hart in Llanvapley, about 20 minute walk, open Thursday-Sunday, see Fbook for details. The town is a great base for walking and cycling as we're close to cycle routes and Offa's Dyke path.
