Dilkusha means “happy heart”. We believe thats what you’ll experience here.
Formerly our family home, we've recently moved and want to offer the Dilkusha experience to others.
We've renovated to a high standard ensuring comfort and practicality. A cosy welcoming haven in a quiet seaside village, highly recommended to anyone seeking some relaxation.
Findhorn offers life at a slower pace surrounded by warm friendly people and Dilkusha offers easy walking access to the waterfront/local amenities.
The space
The cottage is warm, quiet and has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Whether or not you're here to cozy up all day inside or if you wish to explore the local area or a little further afield.
Guest access
Guests have the whole property to themselves.
The only shared space, so to speak, is the garden as our lovely neighbours have right of access through it to reach the main street.
This is how it is in Findhorn, the spaces in front of the houses are called Stripleys and are for resident access.
Located in Forres, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Culbin Sands and Grant Park, while Findhorn Heritage Centre and Universal Hall Arts Centre are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Relax and Iolaire. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
