With views over Hudson s Bay, a small private broad, is part of the Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve, a tranquil setting which may be hard to leave, but for those who do, a wide range of attractions for all ages and tastes can be found in this scenic area of Norfolk. Renowned for its dramatic landscapes and wildlife, including, otters, fish, ducks, herons and kingfishers, the Norfolk Broads offer a myriad of waterways to explore from nearby Wroxham. Family days out could also include BeWilderwood, Pleasurewood Hills theme park, Thrigby Wildlife Centre and Wroxham Barns, to name but a few. The coastline lies just a short drive away and is dotted with interesting towns and villages to explore including traditional seaside fares and sandy beaches, the perfect location to walk or cycle through picturesque landscapes with reed beds and windmills Upon arriving at the cottage along a tree lined private road guests will initially enter the useful rear porch, with utility area where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located. There is also ample space for coats and shoes as well as wiping down muddy paws before stepping through to the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The beautiful dining room creates the perfect backdrop to any meal whether it s a bite to eat or a celebration. The chunky wooden table, art deco furnishings and double doors opening out onto the garden, help to make this room the heart of the property. There is a choice of two lounges in which to relax after a day exploring the local area, one with a wood burner for that cosy or romantic atmosphere and both have Smart TVs to catch up on any must see programmes. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor including, a spacious super king size, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom suitable for both adults and children with views over the garden and water. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC, and a separate WC. Ascending the stairs to the first floor guests will find three further bedrooms, all stylishly furnished and with their own vanity basin. The first is a super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with scenic views out over the private broad, the second is a double bedroom and finally, a twin bedroom. Completing this floor is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The entertaining space is not just confined to inside, especially with such lovey views over the private broad and jetty at the end of the garden. A patio area with both seating and garden furniture offers al fresco dining opportunities as well as a superb spot to enjoy a drink and chat with friends. The wooden jetty is gated, although care should be taken with younger children, and provides a great platform to watch the abundance of wildlife or perhaps enjoy a spot of angling, all fish to carefully be put back to swim another day. There is off road parking available for six cars.
