Conveniently adjacent to a café offering delicious food, including breakfast (one breakfast complimentary per stay), the perfect spot for a table for two, to sit and relax on a sunny day, watching the boats bumble along the river. Horning has two welcoming pubs, ideal for evening tipple, alongside a good selection of shops and cafés.
There are so many places to explore within just a short drive. If you want to explore by boat then boat hire is available nearby, for you to explore the beauty of the Norfolk Broads National Park and discover the pretty waterside villages along the way. Wroxham is a 10-minute drive away, the ’Capital of the Broads’, with its riverside cafés, restaurants, shops and train station. RSPB nature reserves are close by, and the area is an excellent base for walking and cycling along leafy lanes.
Just a short drive away is BeWILDerwood Adventure Park which is great for all ages, with its tree walks, zip wires and much more, keeping the more adventurous entertained! Spend a day exploring the medieval city of Norwich, just 11 miles away, with an abundance of high street and independent shops and eateries, plus a castle and two cathedrals. A great spot for exploring Norfolk’s stunning coastline is the seaside village of Happisburgh is just a 20-minute drive with a fantastic stretch of sandy beach with a dog friendly section and an iconic red and white candy-striped lighthouse.
